The purpose of this event is to provide senior enthusiasts with a new opportunity to play, and to contribute to increasing the popularity and advancement of badminton as a sport that can be enjoyed for one’s entire life. At the same time, it aims to promote the health of the nation and to encourage social interaction.

Additionally, there has been continued growth in the number of visitors to Japan from abroad,Badminton lovers from abroad travel to Japan for the sport, and our goal is to foster deeper interactions and friendship between them and Japanese badminton fans. While doing so, we also aim to spread awareness of Japan’s appeal as a travel destination to people abroad and to contribute to energizing Japan’s regional economies.
